Name: Firepelt
Gender: She-cat
Age: 18 moons
Alliance: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Firepelt is a bright ginger coated she-cat with bright green eyes. There is a black tip on her tail and a black streak starting between her eyes to between her ears. Her paw pads are black, and she has a white underbelly, with one black, front, left paw.
Firepelt’s eyes always become a darker shade of green when in battle.
Her tail has short fur, which is good during Greenleaf, but is torture in leafbare until it grows in its thick roots. Firepelt has sharp teeth to catch the prey in WindClan territory, and sharp claws to escape up trees from danger when needed. Her limbs are strong and her body is very flexible, letting her slither out of tight areas in battle and when she gets stuck in exploring.
Firepelt is not skinny, but is also not too fat either. She is always hungry, but tried to put off the effects of eagerness towards the fresh-kill pile for as long as she can. She bides her time leading her Clan and talking to her warriors, kits, apprentices, elders, queens, and deputy.
Firepelt’s coat shines a silver-yellow color in the moonlight, making her look like a flame made from StarClan them selves. Her eye color is barely visible in the usual nighttime darkness. Her eyes barley shine, giving her an edge to slyness if needed.
Firepelt’s bright orange fur stands out a lot in the ferns surrounding the WindClan camp, but she still finds a way to escape other Clan’s patrols if she has to. Although she will not go on other Clan’s territories, there have been some cases of cats trespassing on their territory in the past. Firepelt relies on her beautiful green eyes to sneak through the grasses and plants.
Roleplay Example: Firepelt raced through the bushes. Her leader had just sent her out on patrol and she wanted to bring as much prey as she could back to camp. She was on her first mission as a warrior and didn’t want to mess it up.
The plants blew by her as Firepelt leapt over a log and onto the other side, landing softly, careful not to disturb any prey that may be out searching for food, or perhaps just bathing in the bright sunlight the day held.
She reached the Thunderpath and looked across. She was going to explore the territory on the other side, near Twoleg place, but she decided it may be too dangerous without another cat with her. Then she froze. Almost doing a double-take, Firepelt stared at the bushes across the path. Were those eyes? She blinked, but then they were gone. She might just need a little drink to calm herself down.
Taking a step backwards, turning around while doing so, Firepelt slowed her pace and left the eerie spot.
Firepelt found a puddle nearby and started to drink from it. She lapped up the cold water from the pre day’s rain and stared in silence. Then she heard a noise. An awkward sound. One that shouldn’t have been heard there. A cat.
It came from behind her, most likely by the Thunderpath, where she had been moments before.
Firepelt dashed off to see if she could help with the situation. Nearing the Thunderpath, she saw no monsters in sight, but a single cat, alone on her side of the hard, blackened surface. It was gasping for air, and was struggling to stand up by itself.
Racing to its side, Firepelt examined the dirty mess of fur. She helped it up, and started washing the pelt, which quickly turned to a beautiful white and black. It was a tom, and it wasn’t too young or too old. It was probably around three moons under her age. She gathered her prey up and helped the cat stagger back to camp. She would have WindClan’s medicine cat look at him. Maybe he would be a new WindClan cat and maybe a new friend.
Personality: Firepelt is generous and friendly, but can sometimes be hostile and aggressive, depending on the cat she is talking to and the circumstances. She follows her Clan leader’s demands without question and agrees with her no matter what, but she will not listen to anyone else other then the leader and deputy. She does not let warriors tell her what to do, although sometimes she makes an exception for her old mentor.
Firepelt will also follow WindClan’s medicine cat, as she, like every Clan cat, knows how close the medicine cat’s are to StarClan. She believes this can help her out if needed in the future.
Firepelt has always wanted a mate and kits, but if she was to become deputy or medicine cat, she would put that aside for the important job she would be doing for her Clan.
Trying to be the best warrior she can be, Firepelt respects the warrior code and everything she must live by. She will be hostile towards other Clan cat’s when needed, but she figures that one or two new friends wouldn’t hurt. Whilst making these new friends, she always puts the Clan first, and makes sure she will not put them in danger by doing what she wants.
Although she is very hostile, it seems Firepelt can be more caring towards loners and kittypets than excepted. Rouges bother here because of the stories of how they have been trying to take over the forest. She thinks wisely before messing with them.
Firepelt traces her Clan’s borders carefully when on patrol. She is careful to make sure that no other scents are on their side of the line, and she always checks for prey. During leafbare, prey is scarce, and Firepelt knows that well.
History:
Kithood:
Firepelt was very demanding and hyper as a kit, but her mother taught her right, and by the time she was apprenticed, almost all of her aggressiveness vanished. She remembers her father, who went to join StarClan about the time she was born due to an accident on the Thunderpath. Now, she only hopes her mother will think more carefully.
Apprentice:
Firepelt grew up as Firepaw. She was apprentice at exactly six moons, as she had asked so kindly for. She has a great bond with her leader and had made an agreement on her mentor and apprenticeship as she had asked.
Warrior:
Firepelt is a very good warrior. She listens to her leader, deputy, and medicine cat, and follows their orders. She watches for prey for her Clan while on patrol, and tries the best she can to keep the Clan first. She goes on patrols regularly and is a very loyal cat.
